Chris presents the weekday Early Breakfast show on BBC 6Music as well as doing regular shows on LBC 97.3. He has regularly deputised on Radio 2 and introduced headline acts on stage for Radio 2 and 6Music live music events.

In 2008 Chris featured on BBC Three's "Freaky Eaters" as well as making two appearances on Harry Hill's TV Burp on ITV 1. 2008 has also seen Chris appearing on GMTV.

Chris often appears on BBC One Breakfast TV, BBC News 24 and BBC Three TV News offering his opinion on pop-culture and music stories. He is a regular pundit on BBC 5Live and has fronted the BBC World Service UK Album Chart and UK Top 20.

He regularly hosts and DJ's at various events around the UK and in Europe. In 2008 he co-hosted and DJ'ed at the Guardian Media Awards at the O2. He has DJ'ed at the BAFTA TV Awards star-studded after-show party as well as playing club nights and record label launches. A DJ'ing highlight was playing alongside top European DJs on the Danube for a launch party in Budapest.

Chris writes a monthly music column in the London magazines, 'Angel' and 'North' and played himself in the Manchester and London productions of the new play, Funkface.

He presented a daily show on GLR 94.9 for over two years and has also presented on BBC London Live, BBC Radio Nottingham, Jazz FM, Real Radio (Guardian Media Group) and American College Radio.

Chris began his career at BBC Radio Shropshire and also had a stint at Talk Radio UK.

Chris married GMTV Weather Presenter, Clare Nasir, in March 2005.
